You might be able to pick it up! Just point it down and below your pubic bone. Funny u say this cause I ordered one and it came today :) I love it

@gvilla - I am 19 weeks but you should still be able to hear it. If not try at 9 weeks (more likely 10weeks) Your baby is still below your pubic bone so u have to push it downward to try to hear the beats (not to hard) but your baby is well protected underneath :)! I heard mines at 12 at the docs :) only because that's the first time they looked for it

It might take you a little more time to get the beats, just be patient :)

I heard mine at 10 weeks at the midwife :)

I first heard mine at 11 1/2 weeks.

I wanted to get one so bad but the placenta is in front of the baby so it won't pick it up :(

I heard mine when I has my first ultrasound at 13 weeks, and then I picked it up with my Doppler when I was about 17 weeks. Even then he was really low in my pubic area ? once you start picking it up though, it really is the best thing!!xx

My doctor told me not to freak out if I don't hear it before 12 weeks. Most of the ones we buy aren't as sensitive and usually don't pick up the heartbeat until about 12 weeks. The doctors is better quality and can pick it up at 9 or 10 weeks.

I bought 1 and it arrived when I was 8wks and a couple of days, I used it that night (although it says 10-12wks) but I heard heartbeat no problems, took a good 5mins or so but I was down really low, give yours a try but if you don't find the heartbeat I wouldn't worry too much, everyone is different. X

you can try to use it now. don't get discouraged if your cant find it though. I had mine and I couldn't find mine until around week 12, but she was way bellow my pelvic bone and hiding. they say its possible to do at 8 weeks though so give it a shot.

I just bought one and it says to only use in 3rd trimester. I'm 29w2d sometimes I can find it others I can't. I think it caused me more stress than anything!

What are good brands for good prices? I'm 17w3d if that makes a difference: )
