Ugh so over people today!
So I got diagnosed with GD this pregnancy and the specialist called me to go to a class on Wednesday. Well I told my female boss who has 3 children that I needed to be off tell 12 that day and she says well i figured you had it cuz your belly is really huge for almost 27 weeks pregnant, then she went and told another coworker right in front of me and they both laughed! I got so upset I went to the bathroom and cried ?
Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
So we got in super late last night. Had to carry my daughter to bed. She had the nerve to try and wake me up at 7:30am saying she wanted breakfast. Smh (She wanted me to fix her a spread)🙄 I told her to choose some cereal. I'll fix her a bowl. Of course there wasn't any cereal that she wanted today 😴 I told her spoiled ass to figure it out and I went back to sleep 😂🤣 She ate an eggo.
So I just got the call from the doctor she told me I got to start taking iron pills 🙄
So I had a doctor's appointment today and I got yelled at. My last appointment I had gained 4 lbs in a month she told me she only wanted me to gained 2 or less. Well I went today a month later and I've gained 0lbs and I'm 23 weeks. She told me I need to gain! I don't understand my doctor. On the plus side no glucose test for this momma! So I'm happy about that.

Over here we have the right to report someone for saying things even in jest and not meant to be hurtful if we find it hurtful. I wouldn't stand for it. Hope you can sort something out

Oh, that is absolutely unacceptable! I'm so sorry you experienced this and as pp mentioned, I'd report your boss.
On another note, the size of your belly, your weight gain, or any other physically seen variable means absolutely nothing to gestational diabetes. I've had it three times. First time I was a gym freak, eating super healthy, barely any weight gain. Second time I wasn't exercising, but was at my lowest weight since pregnancy and still was eating healthy. This time I expected I'd have it too... It all has to do with your placenta and your liver. Not your size.
Hope you get answers and help on Wednesday. Hang in there, mama!

Thank you everyone I am bringing it up to my boss on Monday, due to me being out of work most of this week cuz my 15 month old has been fighting the flu.
