So I had a doctor's appointment today and I got yelled at. My last appointment I had gained 4 lbs in a month she told me she only wanted me to gained 2 or less. Well I went today a month later and I've gained 0lbs and I'm 23 weeks. She told me I need to gain! I don't understand my doctor. On the plus side no glucose test for this momma! So I'm happy about that.
@andreee, yeah I guess as long as little man is growing and healthy that's all that matters to me
Pre Pregnancy I was 216 and I dropped to 214 during my first trimester and second trimester to now my third I'm 221. Also for my height I'm over weight but my dr and ultrasound tech measured baby and all and my baby is really really healthy.. I didn't gain much but maybe because my first trimester I had bad nausea and now I'm just slowly picking up a pound or so each month.. My dr never really told me if it was good or bad if I weighed more because she said I was already over so she wasn't suprised I was dropping .. Each dr is different I guess.?
and that's fine also, it's better than eating big meals all the time or eating out of boardum like most pregnant women do. honestly you'll know if your doing something wrong or if there's something different going on
@kelseys, My boyfriend says I don't eat enough he says I eat like a bird lol I told him I'm just not hungry
yea because that's ridiculous 2pounds. shittttttttt I wish my doctor would've gave me a rule on how much to weigh. with my first son I was 120pounds and when I went into labor I was 210pounds, and that's alot of weight gain and my doctor never said a thing lol so your fine, just still try to eat healthy
She's crazy! honestly go by your own weight gain and not what the doctor says because every woman's body is different and so is pregnancy so she shouldn't be getting mad especially if the baby is growing healthy and you feel your body and baby is alright.
@amber.s95, I don't know how I do it lol I eat all day and I barely exercise.
only 7 pounds!! Thats crazy. I try so hard not to gain so much weight and im just packing on the pounds. Good Job tho its hard!
@amber.s95, I'm 23 weeks and I've gained a total of 7lbs so far. She said at the rate I'm going that I'm going to be thinner after birth than before pre pregnancy.
my pre pregnancy weight was about 185 which is a lot for how tall I am and im about 220 now and I'm 29 weeks. how far along are you?
@amber.s95, Well I'm plus sized I weighed about 263 pre pregnancy now I weighed 272 I guess she doesn't want me to get to high up. but I'm kinda tall so my height counts as weight too.
my doctor never says anything about my weight. I know I've gained more than I probably should have and he never says anything. your ob must be a lot stricter or just mean lol

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

Well I Had My Daughter Today Literally Took Me 1 Hour & 35 mins & 2 Pushes & She Was Here ! 🥰💖💖 So In Love With Her & Her Name Is Anastasia
! It Happen So Fast & Had The Best Experience! And She Was 7 Pound 10
So I had my 12 week appointment today.....and my Dr told me that she doesn't want me to gain more than 15 lbs this pregnancy.....like I've already gained 4! Thia is ridiculous.....with my daughter I gained 30 lbs! 😢
So we got in super late last night. Had to carry my daughter to bed.
She had the nerve to try and wake me up at 7:30am saying she wanted breakfast. Smh (She wanted me to fix her a spread)🙄
I told her to choose some cereal. I'll fix her a bowl. Of course there wasn't any cereal that she wanted today 😴
I told her spoiled ass to figure it out and I went back to sleep 😂🤣
She ate an eggo.
Any mommas on here Nurses ??
I have a question
I had a doctor appointment today and I’m a bit confused with what my doctor told me and what the papers say
