В ожидании первенца

I've haven't tried a belly band, not sure if I ever will..my belly just keeps expanding so I don't think I will need to try one!! I gained 21 lbs so far in my pregnancy no matter what I do I can't help it :/ I'm a petite girl and started out at 118 and I gained 20 lbs before I was even 16 weeks! I am now 19+4 and am weighing in at 140!

I really couldn't get on with belly bands. They'd never stayed in place. An I the only one ?

EBAY!!! I've gotten three HUGE lots of maternity clothes almost all brand new for around $10 each! I got about six sweaters, ten shirts, seven pairs of pants, and four dresses. With shipping, I've paid around $40. eBay is the place, ladies! :)

Word of caution about Zullily, too... They have super cute stuff, but sometimes take forever to ship your items, so keep that in mind.

eBays great won 5 tops for £12 hardly worn. Also found over the bump jeans for £12 better than my £24 jean from mother care. Trying to get a nice lot in as 23 rd Aprils a long way of. Want to be comfortable and not have to struggle to find something to wear in the morning.

Walmart online has fantastic prices! Not a whole lot of winter type warm clothes though. Target isn't too bad on some stuff but I would recommend getting a b-band, it's just a piece of stretchy material you wear over your regular jeans (so you can leave them unbuttoned but be able to keep them up), makes them maternity.

Oooo zulily.com - they often have maternity wear for cheap!

I Invest in maternity jeans. T shirts/sweaters are easier to find. So many styles these days work for maternity baby doll, tunic, extra long tanks, maxi dresses, etc. lots of options but my jeans. I need my maternity jeans. Lol! Otherwise I would live in yoga pants.

Any kind of thrift store is good....especially since you only wear them for a short time. They don't always have great stuff but sometimes you can find really nice must haves!

Consignment shops are the best cheap and just throw them in the washer !!

I got some stuff on sale at JCPenney before. They didn't have a large selection in the store though. I also just bought larger tops that are longer. I hate buying things that I won't get my money's worth from. I bought two pair of jeans with my first and the regular jeans, did not stay up ever and they have that long elastic that covers your whole belly. I bought a pair of skinny maternity jeans and they are so comfy and stay up and worked well postpartum when you look 4-5 months pregnant. I got them at motherhood maternity on sale.

Agree with the other ladies and just wanted to say that I was able to find some good staples at Old Navy last time.

I usually just buy maternity pants. Hoping mine from the last pregnancy will fit again. Other than that I just go up a size with shirts.

I checked Target. Normally everything is freaken 35 bucks but, on the clearance rack, I found a pair of shorts for 7 and a pair of jeans for 10. Good luck

I shopped clearance racks at Old navy and Gap, went to Motherhood & Maternity outlet, and Ross Dress for less. I've just been buying more basic pieces that are comfy. Biggest purchases have been pants but they're pretty essential as I can't fit into any of my regular stuff!

I was surprised by Walmart! Penneys has some, Tarjay, H&M, Old Navy. My problem was that everything seems to be black and out of stock lol!

I've been hunting on ebay, the stuff usually hasn't been worm that much, and I only need it for a few months, no point spending silly money on it.

I'm 16 weeks and still on my own wardrobe, but had to go through it and pick out bits that were comfy and fitted, prob only living in 10% of my clothes at mo

I usually go to Burlington for mine. I found a cute outfit, pants and shirt, for $3 with my first pregnancy. I love their deals! And they always have really cute and affordable maternity clothes there!
