Christmas decorations?
When do you usually take it all down? I don't want to. It's been a battle with babe and the tree. But I love it lol

Mine are also all put away. We did it 2 days after Christmas because being in a small apartment, I needed the room asap to get the new baby's stuff put up.

I used to leave them up until the first of the year but my Christmas tree came down the day after Christmas at 6:30 in the morning. I was tired of fighting with the twins over the ornaments and lights.

I took my tree down last Tuesday. I watch my niece and nephew twins on Wednesday's they are a year old so I didn't know how they would be with the tree. So down it came. Not worth the hassle for me as I have 4 kids 4 and under that day lol. I'm taking the rest of the decorations down now

I just took it down less than 10 minutes ago.

I told my SO I'd take it down today... so I have to. But I wanna keep it up a little longer
deleted-user·
After New Years usually the 2 or the 3

The first week of January. Not sure if I will be motivated tomorrow or not till Friday, but it is coming down this week. I already took down the one in our daughters room, did that yesterday but it had stopped drinking and was shedding everywhere!
deleted-user·
We did today! Usually we don't leave Christmas decorations up past the first week of January.
deleted-user·
I finally took the last of mine down today! Christmas tree and the outdoor lights that light up our walkway.
deleted-user·
The day after Christmas. We were going to take it down on Christmas but we didn't have the energy lol
deleted-user·
We did it today.
deleted-user·
The first or second week of january. Depends what week "el dia de los reyes magos" falls on.
deleted-user·
We take everything down on Three Kings Day. We put out a bunch of appetizers and everyone comes over to help. It's a nice way to say goodbye to Christmas and welcome the new year.
deleted-user·
If I had my way they would all be taken down by 26th December! My boyfriend wants to leave them up until tomorrow
deleted-user·
We actually did it all today. It's our tradition. I like the lights on new years eve, ? so it comes down on the very first day of the year.
deleted-user·
I take ours down the day after Christmas if we are in town. If we are out of town I take them down the day we come home. I don't like Christmas so I can't wait to take everything down.
deleted-user·
Usually after January 6th. But I already did it this year because DD kept messing with the tree and the rest of the decorations are stored in the same closet. So I figured I'd do it all at once. I did leave the nativity out until after epiphany.

January 7th
deleted-user·
Mine were down on the last day of December.
deleted-user·
I usually take mine down either Christmas night or the day after but I know people who keep theirs up all year
deleted-user·
Eh, whenever I get to it. This year I took them down a couple days after Christmas but a few years ago I kept them up until feb lol. I loved how the lights glowed at night and didn't want to take them down.

I will be the odd one - The last weekend in January ! Such a depressing month, the decorations help me through ? Also we don't put them up until a week or 2 before Christmas since we aren't really around to enjoy them anyway - too many parties and family obligations the month of December
deleted-user·
Taking mines down in the morning
deleted-user·
January 7th after the season has truly ended.
deleted-user·
Started taking mine down already but not close to done. Only a couple things left outside tho.
deleted-user·
I leave the tree up until my husband pitches a fit and makes me take it down.
deleted-user·
After Las Octavitas...so 8 days after Three Kings Day...although they usually end up staying until the end of the month ?
I'm always surprised how Three Kings Day isn't celebrated in the US. Traditionally the 12 days of Christmas are the 12 days between Christmas and Three Kings Day so it surprises me there are songs about it, but it's not celebrated.

Mine would have already been down but dd and I have had this terrible Cold. Usually I take it down before new years.
Put it up the first week of December so I'm totally over it by the time chirstmas is done.
deleted-user·
I'll be taking it down sometime this week. Probably tomorrow or Tuesday
deleted-user·
Same as solmari.
deleted-user·
Usually take ours down today (the 1st) but took everything down and put it away 2 days after Christmas this year.
deleted-user·
I took all mine down yesterday ( 1st) do it every year with a top to toe clean of the house
deleted-user·
I took my Christmas tree down on Christmas night. I normally wait until after New Year's Day but I was over it.
deleted-user·
Today! I wanted to wait til the 6th but I'm tired of Christmas decorations
deleted-user·
It goes up December 1 and comes down January 1. One month of decorations is plenty for me lol.
deleted-user·
1-2 days after Christmas. The cats are too annoying with the decorations to prolong it.
deleted-user·
We took ours down today. We always wait until the new year
RayOfMySunShine·
I finally took it down, except the wreath on the door... I want to make a personalized wreath that is winter friendly, not just for Christmas lol.
deleted-user·
I took mine down on Christmas after everyone opened their gifts lol I don't have people over so figured we didn't need a tree
deleted-user·
Usually the 2nd but I probably won't get time to until the weekend
deleted-user·
Mine is put up 12 days before and taken down 12 days after ☺️ that's enough for me!
(Taking it down a day early this year though as it's my partners day off)
deleted-user·
I take it down after New Year's Eve as I like a little sparkle at New Years. We got rid of the tree today in fact.
