ftm worried about pumping

ftm worried about pumping

I'm a FTM due January 15th. I want to bf until I go back to work 8 weeks after my lo is born. I want to pump while at work but I'm a blackjack dealer and have 4-20 minute breaks a night. I worried 20 minutes isn't enough time to pump and get back to my table. I'll be working swing shift and at work while baby sleeps (yes babies eat at night too). But I'm really stressed out about this. Please help!!!

You can pump in 15 minutes, rinse your parts and store them in the fridge between pumps, don't worry about washing. Is it possible they would allow you to combine your breaks to take 2 or 3 slightly longer ones? Also, just a thought they do make the freemie pump that you wear in your bra...Maybe you can wear it under you clothes and pump while you drive or... work (long shot but figured I'd offer the suggestion!)

Thank you for responding. I really appreciate it. Hopefully I'll be able to swing it.

Prep yourself so it takes the least amount of time as possible. Try not to have to take off too much clothing, have your bottles attached to the tubing already so all you have to do is pop it on the motor. Then have plenty of whatever you decide to store in so you aren't juggling or searching for anything. Good luck!

Breast feeding and pumping

Breast feeding and pumping I'm going to be home with the baby but I do want to pump so my husband can feed the baby once in a while. I just don't know when to pump. I usually feed the baby on both boobs for about 10-15 minutes. Please help!

Pumping question I have to pump while I'm at work and when I started back about 6 weeks ago I was getting 4-6 oz every time. Now I'm barely getting 3. I know I'm making enough because I nurse while at home and LO is very content. I pump until nothing is coming out and usually a minute or 2 after. How do I produce more while at work? Is it my pump? I'm worried about taking something and getting an oversupply. I'm having to supplement with formula while she's at daycare and I'd rather not.
