Potty training

Has anyone started potty training. My daughter doesn't like to bed wet. When she pees she is pulling at her diaper but once I put panties on her she doesn't care. My boys were so easy to potty train.

Thanks Riley!!! I will definitely go there. Just haven't ventured out that far with the crazy winter we've had over the last month.

@ourswillmakefive. I as well had a hard time finding little underwear smaller than 2T but I found some at the Childrens Place. So if you have one of those stores they have them smaller than 2T!

I know the feeling! We're due April 9th so the idea of having only 1 in diapers would be really nice. My biggest prob is not being able to find panties in dd's size. The smallest I could find was 2T-4T. She's so tiny they just fall off. Really need 18 mos at the most.

Both of my boys were done by 22 months (I know a little early for dd) but I have heard that girls are easier and potty train much sooner. I'm not in a huge hurry would just like to be done when the new baby comes.

We bought a potty seat prob 3mos ago cuz dd kept saying potty when everyone else would go into the bathroom. We've since been very casual about training. It depends on her mood. She's gone twice in the potty but most days won't tell me she needs to potty until it's too late. I'm just not ready to force the issue yet.

Haha! @elizabeth, my daughter does the exact same thing! We a little Minnie Mouse seat, and she would rather take it apart than sit on it.

We got a potty seat when she turned 18m but she's not ready. I explained to her what it was and she won't go near it lol if I say go potty she runs away. hoping she warms up to the idea soon.

What age did you potty train your boys? I started sitting Blake on the potty before bath every night but he thinks it's hilarious.

Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child.
