I need opinions!! My boyfriend and I met on New Year's Eve last year, got pregnant kinda fast so I'm due on Monday. His mother brought him tickets to a show out of town on New Years eve for them to go to. Im so fucking mad! Not only would it be our first New Year's Eve as a couple but it would be our first New Years has a family & now I'm gonna be left sitting home alone with a newborn. Am I overreacting ? The worst part is that this is the annniv. Of the day he proposed to me. And he doesnt even remember it..... sucks to be me today :(

You can come to my house. I'll be all alone too. DH works all night, I live four hours from family and I'm due on the first so no traveling for me. First time in my life I'm not gonna be with anyone to cheer in a new year. :(

Me too I have a 5 yr old and 5 week old and my hubby is a otr driver so I'm used to him working on New Year's Eve.

I'm in the same boat as you.
My husband and I always rang in the new year together. We'd stand on the back porch before midnight, have our kiss and he'd walk thru our door holding my hand.
I'm stuck between being upset and releived. But I can't lie and say I wish that it wasn't going to be just me and the baby.

Sooo... I will be home alone. Tried inviting a friend, everyone but me has plans. Oh well.
I decided that I will use the eve as me time and instead of being sad about it will pamper myself. Take a bubble bath, drink champagne, and celebrate everything I have to look forward to.
And I'll probably be on bb too lol so look for my New Years party post tonight!

Awe that sucks :( I agree divorce sucks!! I'm sure a lot of the ladies on here will start a new years post "party" I'm not going out this year and dh probably won't stay up with me again.
