Rant: my son is almost 16 months, yes, I whoop his butt when he runs from me when I try to change his butt or get him dressed, and yes, I spank his butt if he flips over during a diaper change, and yes I smack his hand when he hurts other people, and yes, it has helped a lot.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
AF due 29th, anyone else? Hi all AF is due 29th Sept for me feels like forever away. Has anyone tested yet or when do you plan on testing x
I have a question for you ladys.... when your husband is exhausted or really stressed does he cling to you more or pushes his self away.?
son getting out of car seat So a couple days ago my son started getting himself out of his car seat while we are on the road. He will be 2 years old May 27th. He pushes the chest clip all the way down and pulls his arms and shoulders out of the straps but is still buckled at the waist. Today he did it 4 times, we had to pull over every time. What do you guys do when they start doing this? My Britax came with these long rubber strap covers but I took them off a while ago when he was to small for them. Are they to stop him from pushing the chest clip down? I just want to know if these will help before I take it apart to put them back on.

Thanks!

I do realize that we are not his pedi but I am trying to save a trip to her cuz it takes hrs to be seen ruedas
I was asking for other options besides the ones I already used.. There are moms on here that have dealt with something similar remember? :-)

Hmm maybe coconut oil? It is anti bacterial, anti fungal, and anti viral so it would clear up whatever this may be.
Also it looks like letting this air out as much as possible would be helpful.
deleted-user·
Thank you ladies! I'll let it air out as much as possible! :-)
deleted-user·
Definitely leave his diaper off as much as possible to air it out. That will help. It could be yeast. For that the doctor will give you Lotrimin cream. It also could be something more than yeast. Definitely take him in. Good luck!
deleted-user·
Doesn't look like yeast to me, but it could be. Can you let him run around naked for a bit? If not, tie a cotton receiving blanket around him loosely so his little butt can breathe but you don't have to clean the floor repeatedly. :) if you've tried two pastes and they haven't really helped I would take him to the doctor before trying anything else. I would hate to irritate the area even more.

He is on the playmat diaper free lol.. I won't put anything else on it and go ahead and make a call to his pedi tomorrow and see if they can get him in.. Thanks for your responses! :-)

I would try coconut oil

Does anyone else remember when the user who shall not be named posted her baby's butt?
Op, I wouldn't post your baby's bum on the Internet. I description would have worked. Buut that's just me. ? Also, my son had a yeast infection on his bum and it didn't look like this.
deleted-user·
She who shall not be named posted a pic that was a little more revealing than the crack.
deleted-user·
It could be the brand of diapers you're using.
deleted-user·
Still no diaper on.. Lol he's peed on me about 3 times. He's 3 months and we've been using the same diapers since he was born so I don't think it could be the diapers but since airing it out it seems a lot better.
Don't worry pp I won't be posting of his healing bum! .. Lol I wouldn't post anything of his privates it was of his back side not the middle. Just a simple question. thanks for your responses :-)

I used the same pampers brand diapers on my son for about a year and he started having reactions like this and I switched brands and it helped. Maybe it's not the same case with your LO just speaking from my experience. :)
deleted-user·
This isn't yeast... hope your lo gets better soon.

Here's what u need to do... My dd had a bad bad terrible diaper rash a few months ago and took her to the doc and this is what she said:
Draw him a bath and sprinkle some baking soda! Let him soak in there for a few min
Let it air dry completely ..... Then apply diaper cream, she recommended desitin.
Try a different diaper, I noticed mine was allergic to Luvs
After a couple of days you should see some improvement of not its time to go to the doc
deleted-user·
Almost looks like canker sores but wrong area. Id go into the dr. Make sure its not a bacteria infection or a virus and see whats best to treat it.
deleted-user·
My dd got a nasty diaper rash from luvs as well it turned into a fungal infection and didn't go away until we took her to the doc and the precribed that anti fungal meds and we switched diapers
deleted-user·
Doesn't look like yeast to me. You didn't set him down in a fire ant pile did you? That's how I look when I accidentally step in one.
deleted-user·
Update us when you find out for sure what it is. I'd like to know! ?
deleted-user·
So it looks like I'll be switching from luvs!! Lol he didn't get this till the new box I bought.. :-( it looks so much better now that it's air drying! From the pic it looks like straight up acne but now the redness is going away and the bumps are going down and drying out.. Thanks you all for the advice!
deleted-user·
It kind of looks like Molluscum contagiosum....? I know babies can get it from mom due to close contact, or even from delivery
deleted-user·
Whatever you do don't pop them! My son had something like that on his butt and I made the mistake of popping them and they got worse! Took him to the doctor and he had something called Mrsa. Its very contagious. Popping it only makes it spread.
