Any of you mommy's experience severe heartburn to the point where it feels like your throat is clogged? I've had it for at least 2 days now and I literally have the hardest time swallowing anything even water. I was prescribed some meds for it but they stopped helping. I guess I got too used to them. I feel like my chest and throat and even my ears are on fire and I feel like my throat is swelled up. Any ideas on what I could or should do?

Mine has been really terrible lately as well. My doctor told me to take Magnesium twice a day, that helps and I carry tums in my purse haha I'm sure you're past the Tums considering you have a script but if you're not taking magnesium I suggest that. It's safe, it's just a vitamin

I was taking extra strength tums 2 of them but it only worked for like 30 min. Now I'm taking pepcid 10 mg 2x a day works like a charm

@bekkahyman I was prescribed the generic for Zantac and it just completely stopped helping. I might have to talk to my dr about prescribing me a pepcid to see if it helps any at all because this is really killing me. I feel like I have a huge lump in my throat that just won't go away.

That’s what we would call acid reflux it’s a step up from heartburn and it causes acid to come up in your throat basically. It’s terrible but I take 20mg of omeprezole and it saved me
