@asandovaln, I’m having my boyfriend get me a hot wash cloth and I’m gonna massage it and i have the suction thin so I’ll just use that

@walkers-mom, if you can hand express go for it. I know when I’m massaging a clogged duct it starts leaking so I just hold a bottle & let it leak into it lol

@walkers-mom, I know at first I was so happy bc I was pumping up to 10oz but then I was like uhh I’m making way too much milk! So I started drinking peppermint tea & pumping for 8min now instead of 15-20min (or pumping for comfort instead of completely emptying breast)

@asandovaln, he just ate off of it and it didn’t release .. would it be bad to try to pump it out? 😩😩😩 he didn’t even eat off of my other side i just used the suction thing and it’s completely squishy and my other one is rock hard

@walkers-mom, definitely keep an eye out for symptoms! Drink some water hun & try to get some rest! I know it’s hard with a newborn

@walkers-mom, that’s what I started doing and ended up with mastitis bc baby girl wasn’t completely emptying out my breast😣 It’s probably just a clogged duct massaging & warm compress should help! If it hurts just to even touch keep an eye out for flu like symptoms & head to the ER right away I waited too long & ended up getting hospitalized for 3 days😞

@asandovaln, ok it’s underneath my boob so I’ll have to check .. and both my boobs are warm but I’m only on day 4 of breastfeeding so my body is trying to regulate my supply and now i have an oversupply from pumping & now him latching

Try warm compresses & massaging it out it will help!

If you have flu like symptoms & your breast is engorged & has red spots it’s mastitis!

@denisse.m, i haven’t looked at them but i will when i get home. And there both hot but I’m on day 4 of him latching so i guess it’s normal because my supply is regulating

Your breast would be red and hot if it is. With the clogged duct you will still feel it for a day or two at least that’s how it is for me.
