So I have low iron and need to start taking iron pills , but I just can't keep the pills down for absolutely nothing .. And suggestions ? Or alternatives I can do ..

Do slow release iron pills....their really small

@calzaste96 have you tried making fruit smoothies with baby spinach? I was low on iron last pregnancy and had a smoothie every day to help bring levels up. You seriously can't taste the spinach so it might be worth a try! It probably isn't enough on it's own though

I eat lots of beans this time around and I haven’t needed a extra iron pill; but with my other pregnancies I did

@mswedes only thing is I'm a VERY picky eater so most vegetables are out . but as for bean I can do beans @girlmom. N vitamin pills didn't work for me , I hate pills with a passion , so I had to turn to gummies for pretty much everything or fluid medicines when sick.

Look up foods that have a lot of iron. Eat them daily.

Spinach has a lot of iron. I ate a lot of spinach while I was pregnant but I’ve also heard that flintstones vitamins with extra iron are fine to take while pregnant. Maybe you’ll be able to keep those down better
