I have a question ladies. I have an interview tomorrow. Should I tell them I'm pregnant? Or not? Wearing the right thing and sucking in a tad- haha I could probably hide it. At the same time I don't want to be dishonest. But also don't want it to affect me getting the job... opinions?
I would recommend being upfront with them. If one of the girls I was interviewing for a position was dishonest about it I would already feel hesitant about them. Trust is a big thing and you want them to trust you
@bay_73 by law they aren't allowed to discriminate, however that doesn't mean that they won't. I also feel that if a few people are interviewing for a position they are most likely going to hire the person who isn't pregnant. Imo.
I just had a job interview today and didn't tell them I was pregnant because I was afraid of the same thing. I won't tell them until I start.
I didn’t tell them and I got the job right on the spot 😬😬 I wouldn’t tell them!
I wouldn’t even bring it up if wait till I’m hired to tell them people are less likely to hire pregnant women even though they aren’t supposed to my sister waited to tell her new job
It’s better to be honest in my opinion. You don’t want to look like a liar down the road when you need time off for maternity leave.
@jessicawashburn16 girl you should be fine then . i would just mention it after they offer you the position. Either way you should be fine! Goodluck☺
@rayanna20 it's at a hospital. Almost all my job experience is in healthcare. Although this is for a patient access representative, so not actual patient care
That's what i do lol works everytime. What kind of job is it. ? If you dont mind me asking
