So I've had a UTI..but now I have bad lower back pain, diarrhea, and a cramp like pain.
Can I be going into prelabor or is this just from the UTI?

@mollyfulton1996 i feel you on that one. And at least of they do the test you can know for sure it's not that and they can rule something simple out.
@shanasmeltzer I don't think I've had any increase. It's been pretty much the same. Actually..today I noticed a lot less. But I'll ask for it all to be taken into consideration cuz I'm not going back for another misdiagnosis
@mollyfulton1996 maybe tmi but if you have an increase of discharge maybe they can check for bacterial vaginosis? I didn't have any symptoms other than thay but my pain and contractions were consistent for days so they figured why not and sure enough, it was positive.
@shanasmeltzer man they are the worst. I just want the constant pain to go away. New medication or something, cuz what they gave me at the hospital is not helping at all. Before it didn't hurt to pee..but since I've been taking it..it hurts
Hope you get it figured out! I've had a few UTIs and always had contractions and pain. This time around it was another infection... so meds until the due date for me

@crissie22 I know. I really hope it doesn't..because we can't afford another hospital visit right now.
@crissie22 my doctor is taking me in tomorrow morning so I just gotta try and be as comfortable as I can until then
@toshagager1988 my doctor scheduled me to come in tomorrow morning cuz she doesn't know if it's prelabor pains or if it's cuz the medicine isn't working
With my last baby I went to the hospital because I was having labor pains and they came back and told me I had a UTI but I never had any pain or anything from it
I've been taking the medicine since I got it. 2 times a day..and have been drinking cranberry juice as well. I called my doctor and left a message because we can't afford another hospital visit..especially now with taxes on delay
I feel like most of that is symptoms of a UTI that didn't get treated or didn't respond to treatment & has gotten worse.. did you take anything for it? You might want to go get checked out just in case, if the infection spreads to your kidneys that can be bad news as well..
