Went back to the doctor today because I was still in pain. he took a sample to check for uti but that's bullshit because I know I don't have a uti. I get those pretty often and I always know when I have one and this ain't that so Yea. he says I'm in pain because he rubbed the swab against my bladder but why would u do that. I don't think the strep test required anything with my bladder. Honestly since he said that I have come to the conclusion that he made a mistake and stuck the swab in my pee hole and that is why I screamed in pain and was in tears. you stuck it in the wrong damn hole and now wanna make excuses that maybe I have a uti and that since I'm further along that's why I feel pain. but all that is BS because pain from being further along I expect .I expect to have pelvic pain or back pain or hip pain but I don't have any of that this is not baby pain. this is extreme pain when I pee and u possibly swabbed wrong damn hole! I honestly would rather have a uti than the shit I'm feeling right now that's just how bad it is. a uti would b heaven compared to the pain I feel cuz I can deal with a little sting when I pee compared to excruciating pain when I pee! Ok rant over sorry guys it's so long!

I'm waiting to see if my mom obgyn will take me this late in my pregnancy but if not then I will just stay with the doctor I have now I guess @mrssabby

@kaymariah, did the ways help? It usually helps cause it dilutes ur urine and keeps ya from peeing just a lil bit so many times, well I hope it gets better im so sorry you gotta go through this, girl I had a foley and died so I feel ur pain 😉

Yes it will... Diluting the pee will help with any burning and you are made of 70% water you need to keep it up!! I had so much pain, trouble sleeping, headaches... I started drinking about 1-2 litres a day and I feel so much better!!

@kaymariah, grrr drink a few cups but try and hold ya pee to the very end, when I was in the hospital they put a catheter in cause I got mag, it hurt like crazy and every time I pee it burned and hurt, to top it off it was leaking and I was peeing myself, well they took it out and when the did it was worse, but they said that I had urethral trauma meaning that when I had surgery they removed my foley without deflating the balloon all the way, it took like a week for me to feel better and start peeing right without it hurting, but when my bladder wAs full it didn't hurt as bad when I would go probably because if the pressure

@kaymariah, to help you can drink tons of water so everytime you pee, you pee you pee full also the water will dilute your urine so when it comes out full and fast it won't hurt as much, if that docent work go to ER or urgent care

Oh wow I'm sorry honey, but it's no way to get to ur bladder from you vagina with a closed cervix, if he stuck it in ur urethral opening then you would be in excruciating pain because that's how it feels to get a catheter placed and it takes a few days for the pain and sting to go away after the catheter is removed, if you still hurt go to the ER and pray he didn't damage ur urethral opening 😔
Yes in the meantime try Tylenol extra strength. hopefully it'll help some
If the pain keeps on go to the hospital & tell them what he did. there is no reason. why he should've put the swab in any while I'm telling you I'm pretty sure they don't have to put the swab even in your vagina it's on the outside & right by your butt hole. because that's where the bacteria grows
@jellybeansmommie, i wish there was something to take away the pain so if u know something let me know because this pain is no joke everytime i pee which is pretty often im 8 months my son sits on my bladder pretty often so being scared to pee cuz u kno its gonna hurt like hell when it comes out is not whats up ugh!

the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
