**my mother who hates my husband, who constantly puts me down & calls me names, verbally abuses me. She demands I give her respect when she cannot will not reciprocate, expects me to bring my daughter to see her.
I brought her once initially once she arrived in Florida and she instantly started arguing with me, screaming in front of my daughter so I left.
Since, she’s been going around telling family I ignore her but ask her for money. I refuse to see or communicate with her.
(Backstory: 2 months ago during my separation from my husband I asked her for 50$ once for an apartment app & because I didn’t get an abortion like she wanted she cussed me out and I stopped talking to her)

You're not wrong at all. Just because she has the title "mother" doesn't mean she can do or say whatever she wants to about you.
