I have my glucose test tomorrow, when do I stop eating, an hour before ? I forget what the doctor told me

After midnight no water or food.

Nothing after midnight but you can still drink water.

Midnight. I hated the glucose test when I was pregnant with my daughter and going with out eating. What time is your appointment?

My doctor said I could eat, just as long as there's no sugar. But, I fasted instead.

@alejandra1x, that’s nuts, my appointment is at 3pm tomorrow! There’s no way I can go 15 hours without food lol

I didn’t have to fast but maybe call the on call at your office and see what they say cause it seems every doctor wants it done differently

If it's your first glucose test (the 1 hr test), no need to fast just don't eat high sugar food andf nothing within an hour of the test. The only one you have to fast for is the 3 hr test.

To my knowledge you don't fast for a glucose test. I never did and was never told to

I had to fast after midnight. That's why I scheduled an early appointment and I also took snacks with me and scarfed them down as soon as they got what they needed. Lol

You’re not suppose to eat at that day before u go get tested.

U suppose to take it on an empty stomach

They shouldn’t of never scheduled u so late for that kind of test SMH

Every doctor is different I guess, it’s crazy seeing so many different answers! I called in it’s only an hour before my test I can’t eat or drink anything besides water. @shanilaray2420, @morganmommy79, @hayleybug333, thank god! Lol
