My daughter is having trouble latching. She will do it for a brief second but won’t do anything. Then start crying. Because of this I had to start pumping and bottle feeding her. Help.

@brookeellis11479, I dunno maybe wait until she is really hungry and put breast milk on your nipple so she knows it’s there and just keep trying, be patient and when her mouth opens, shove as much boob in there as you can🤣 good luck!!
@elenalee, maybe. But how do I get her to take more in if she isn’t even interested in it?
When I had trouble getting baby to latch it was because I wasn’t putting enough boob in his mouth. It was shocking to me how much boob had to go in that little mouth to get a good latch (someone had to show me) but once I figured that out, he never had any more problems.
@mimimommyof2, I’ve been trying that she just won’t latch long enough.
@brookeellis11479, yea I feel you I got lucky and did both with my daughter they will scream but express your boob so she’ll know there’s something in there

It starts that way but now that’s the bottle is introduced it’s hard because the bottle gives faster results
