No. You can opt out of whatever you want.

Also if your going to associate it with losing a baby in the past then I think it’s better to wait until your further along to get a pap.

@beemommyof3 @missheatherbaby, thanks, I’m just nervous they’re gonna be mad at the doctors office. They never have been but I brought up not wanting one last apt and it was like they never heard of anyone opting out of something, the nurse was so confused.

Paps aren't just for STDs they detect cancer. It's your call.

If u haven't had one while pregnant I would have one just so ur in the clear. But if ur that uncomofrrable don't do it.

@worlds.okayest.mom and I agree with u. It's how I found out I had cervical cancer when I was pregnant w my second at the routine pap.

I had had one in March so when I got pregnant in July I asked and the Dr said I didn't have to do another one. When I was pregnant with my first the pap caused me to bleed because the baby was a placenta previa. So with this one I skipped it and now this baby was a previa too. Glad I skipped it.
