Is it bad that I haven't ever had a pap smear in my life and I'm due in 11 days?

@courtney.welsh I don't think age is a factor I know people that are the same age as me and they've had them during their pregnancy

I was the same. Dr didn't require a Pap smear from me & when I was pregnant I was only 20

Your dr will let u know when he requires one

@steph_1997, yeah, that's why. I'm 20 and my doctor went out of her way to say I wasn't going to get one.

If you're under 21 you don't get them. You use to at 18, but they don't any more. Don't know how old you arr

@taylorsmommy10817 you're supposed to start getting them when you start your period for the very first time. I got one when i had my first dr appointment(hadn't had one before that though)@steph_1997

@taylorsmommy10817 yeah exactly. During my pregnancy I've had 3 of them done.

@steph_1997 i would request for one especially if you're going to have a vaginal birth. Gotta make sure you're good down there.

I think I will. I see her Tuesday. I switched doctors too from a male to a female and neither of them have given me one or even mentioned it to me

@steph_1997 that is strange. I thought that was like standard policy. That's how i found out i had a std.....or any type of infection. How do they check you for yeast infections and stuff like that??
