I was given a Chicco Keyfit 30 infant car seat yesterday and I’d like to hear some opinions of this car seat from mom’s who have used it for their babies before I decided to use it or get the one I originally picked out. Anything helps! Thanks in advance!
I am so incredibly grateful for my best friend. Last night she and I were in a car accident. I was driving and we got hit by a student driver. My car is totaled, I had to come out of pocket for a rental car. Both of my kids car seats were in the car and I’ve been stressing on how to buy new seats for them, she just told me that her and her husband bought us new car seats. I can’t stop crying.
Always amazed At the amount of seats that come into seat checks totally wrong. I did roughly 30 checks today and only 4 were right! Lots of babies are now safer in the car!

So I got rid of my spacious Chevy Impala and now have a compact Hyundai Elantra. I’m trying to figure out which car seat would fit best in a smaller car.?? The car seat will go behind the passenger so there will be a little more room to move the front seat up.
I got a car seat from a friend and a stroller online the carseat fits in the stroller but the shade won't close :( get a smaller car seat or keep it ?

That's what we used! I liked it a lot. He seemed comfy in it. Easy to install. Getting it in and out was sometimes tough, the latch didn't always release right. We used it until 5 months, I think.

I would think anything Chicco is good ya know. You go look up reviews on the Chicco keyfit 30 I bet that could help as well.

We originally got the britax travel system but were also given one of these. 10 months in my britax carseat broke!! And we started using the chicco... wish we would have used it the entire time. Its so light weight.
