i had an appointment today (: the doctor said he’s already head down 😬im only 30 weeks idk what his rush is. how soon after they turn does labor come? my mom said my brother n i didn’t turn till the last week
It's my turn ladies! Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.

Forgive me if this offends anyone but is it just me or does it seem like doctors are so quick to jump to c-sections these days? Even my midwife at 30 weeks said if my baby doesn’t turn (he’s transverse) I’ll have to have a c-section. Which of course put so many thoughts in my mind that I didn’t necessarily need because I still have ten weeks. I just don’t get it I guess. Technically we can go to 42 weeks.

I’m 29 weeks today but my baby has been head down since 26 weeks so sometimes it doesn’t mean anything just babies position

They can still flip around every other week mine was head down n low or sideways or head high. Once u hit 37/38wks they don't typically move anymore. My last two were always head down, this is so different lol

My little one had been head down for weeks
All my boys have been head down early but have never came early
First born came 41 weeks
Second born came 1 day shy of 40 weeks
N this time around he’s extremely comfortable so he ain’t coming any time soon
No need to worry
Little ones come whenever they r ready
Don’t stress ur self or worry to much

My boy was head down from 28 weeks. I didn't go into labor until 39 weeks. You're alright hun.

@lavender13 he tried to come at 31 weeks but they gave me meds and put me on bed rest until 38 weeks and he came on the 21st of December

My daughter was head down from 19 weeks didn’t flip stayed there didn’t have her until 39 weeks
