Um that doesn't like they are doing the best they can for you or your baby. Definitely need to go to a different hospital and then i would make a complaint. Thats not right.

Definitely get a second opinion!!! I went in at 26 weeks with my first, they stopped mine! they should be trying to stop the contractions or prepare the baby for an early delivery.

They think you're going to deliver at 24 weeks? And they're okay with that?! Hell no, mama! You go get a 2nd opinion ASAP. Babies gotta bake as long as possible, that's why pregnancy typically last a whole 9 months..

My sister went to the hospital at 34 weeks and they gave her steroid shots, medicine to stop contracts, and kept her till she turned 35 weeks.

She got released and went back at the end of the week and delivered.

What @ecahanes said they give u that for the baby's lungs to mature enough for when u do deliver early. I've done all this 6 times I'm like a pro LoL 😂. I've been down this road alot of times. They have given me stuff that stops it m but it don't always stop it. I be jus hope u go get a second opinion cause whatever they r telling u is bullshit.

Id say 2nd opinion and definetly bed rest just in case, typically when u contract enough for them to seem concerned they give you the steroid shots and shots to even try n stop them 😕

Definitely they sound dumb they should be giving baby steroid shots to help with the lungs

They can too give u stuff to stop ur labor. I was in the hospital for that n they stopped my labor I delivered at 33weeks the next day I would have been 34weeks. I would definitely go get a second opinion cause there r medicines that they can give u to stop it.
