I am at my whits end with my mother y’all..

It’s like every time I want to go out, without my kids, she has to make it a big deal! Asks me so many questions, and tells me I shouldn’t go cause I have kids..

Well when I do go out, they stay with their father.. it’s like she has a problem with them being with him when he isn’t a bad father. He watches them when I go out. So I don’t understand what my mothers problem is..

Last night, I get ready to go to my friends house, she comes out before I leave and tells me “don’t you have kids to watch” which made me so mad.. I wanted to snap, instead I just said “they’re fine” and left. Now I have my kids 24/7 y’all, so I do take care of my kids! Every day, all day.

She makes the most negative comments to me, and I’m just so tired of it.. I’m 21.. with kids, and pregnant.. I know what my priorities are but damn it I do deserve some me time! With or without friends. 😣

She drives me crazy, I love her so much.. but this is getting ridiculous no matter how many times I talk to her about how she needs to stop, she doesn’t. I’m sick of it. One of these days, she’s not gonna like it when I shut her out.

What would you do if your mom was this way???

@sassymomof3, that’s sad that she doesn’t have her own place.

Of course I don’t know your mom but I would never recommend shutting your mom out for two main reasons. 1) I know what it’s like to lose your mom completely unexpected and never get to make amends then find out later, from her diaries, that she thought you didn’t love her. It’s a horrible thing to have to live with. 2) my oldest is 18 and he moved out to live with his girlfriend the day he graduated high school. He lives 45 minutes away from me so I rarely ever see him. It’s so hard just not having him in my everyday life anymore. It would literally kill me if he shut me out completely.

You definitely need space between y’all. It’s never easy to live with a parent and a SO with kids at the same time. That’s a lot of stress for everyone. If she has no means to go anywhere else I would be looking for a way to start my family in my own place.

@brookemmoore, it’s my brother in law’s and sister’s house we share and my kids dad and I pay rent, but she hasn’t paid shit

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

I can't believe it My cousin stayed with me rent free from September 2015 to April 2016 and her stuff is still in my apartment. She's been saying she was going to come get her stuff for months. She text me this morning saying that she was going to come and get her stuff soon, and I asked her if I could have her air mattress. She tried to charge me $60 for it. The air mattress sells new for $35 on amazon and she didn't even pay $60 for it. I didn't respond and she just text me saying the $60 was for a microwave she bought me and her air mattress. When she got the microwave, it was a gift. Then when my son was in the hospital from October to January out of town, I was going to get my internet service turned off until I returned home. My cousin was doing school work online, so I paid for it while I was away so she could use it. I'm trying to figure out a response to her. ?

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
