Flu shot and pregnancy? I work as a CNA and I have to get my flu shot. I normally don’t unless working as a CNA. But, is it safe while pregnant. Tomorrow is my 12 weeks mark (not sure if that matters)
My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.
My friend just told me that once you have your baby they get a hepatitis b shot and flu shot automatically. I don't know how I feel about the flu shot.🤔

How many moms are against the flu shot ? I haven't got it and my son hasn't either and I'm really not planning to. But so far an infant died already here in California because of the flu. So I'm scared

After first trimester I’m pretty sure it’s safe. I always get mine pregnant or not. The flu shot is very important when your pregnant because after you give birth your baby is protected by those antibodies until they turn 6 months and can get their own flu shot.

I got my flu shot 2 weeks ago at 26 weeks, and I just had a sore arm afterwards.🤷🏻♀️

I got it at 13 weeks pregnant and now currently 24 weeks and 6 days and baby is healthy as can be

You have to let the person doing it know you’re pregnant. They will offer you a different kind of flu shot. If I’m not mistaking it’s a mercury free flu shot. Safer for you and the baby.
