My friend just told me that once you have your baby they get a hepatitis b shot and flu shot automatically. I don't know how I feel about the flu shot.🤔
My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.

They wait until they're older for the flu shot. Once they decided my daughter was old enough her doctor said it was optional. So I opted out of her getting the flu shot.

You can reject every shot. But the vitamin K is very important to help with blood clotting. We rejected everything at birth except vit K and spaced out ALL other vaccines we wanted.

My midwife recommends that anyone that come in contact with the baby should get the tdap shot. (Spouse, siblings, grandparents ect) did any of you have other people get the shot?

They won’t force you to do anything. But the flu is definitely not even an option.

Infants younger than six months cannot get the flu vaccine. You would have to get it while you're still pregnant

Hepatitis B for sure but I never heard about the Flu shot. My birthing center doesn't do that!

My daughter didn’t. I don’t think they offer it until after 6 months. At least here they don’t.
