There's no giving up. Your kids need you! Take a break and renew though because you can't pour from an empty cup.

The hardest thing for me, was when my daughter got sick, and I had to watch them poke her 6 times just to get an IV in. Watching her scream and cry for me, and me not being able to help her ripped me into a million pieces. (She was severely dehydrated and HAD to have fluids). I never give up, because I AM the one who wanted her here, I am the one who brought her into this world, and she deserves the world from me. She needs me, loves me unconditionally, and that’s all I need to keep me going. 💞

Never having a break. I admit I wish I could just walk away for a day but then I think how worth it this all is. And taking her to get shots.

@theinkedmommy I can relate. My middle son had gotten RSV. They had to move it to his foot because they kept trying to get it in his arm and it wouldn't go. I hate seeing them in pain. 😞
