Valentines Day...do you give??
Are you ladies doing anything for your man for Valentine's Day?? If so, what are you giving him??!!
I don't know what I'm making for dinner yet but I got my DH a pack of moleskin journals and his favorite pens. We are going away for a conference he has later this month and I know he will want them.
Plus he never gets anything really nice for himself. He uses those ugly spackled composition notebooks from the dollartree
I'm sick with the flu, so we aren't going out. But next week, I'm taking him out for dinner, when I don't feel like puking my guts up. I put together some jerky and a stuffed puppy with a rose. In all honesty, my two year old will probably steal the stuffed animal lol I'm not getting anything, as far as I know. I'm okay with that. Valentine's Day isn't about gifts to me. It's about showing your partner they're appreciated, in any way you know how. Gifts mean very little to me.
My husband gets up before me and the kids to go to work so last night I left a gift bag on the counter with the NES Classic mini Nintendo and his favorite chocolates. A card with lottery tickets. And a box of his favorite donuts for breakfast. On the mirror of his bathroom I used pink sticky notes and made a heart writing all the reasons I love him. Lastly, when he gets home today I made him a heart shape cake with pink vanilla frosting and wrote FU€K ME in white icing (like a conversation heart). I love giving to him he does so much for me ? For my 2 daughters, I got them valentines books with their favorite cartoon characters, small box of chocolate, card, and a small stuffed animal
I threw together a silly Valentine's Day "basket" I guess you could call it. Teddy bear, small balloon, Godiva chocolate, a silly pair of satin Valentine's Day boxers with massage oils and his favorite candies. He got a massage with a nice ending last night ? after he took me out to dinner but I stuck a 1 hour massage gift card (better get nothing more than a handshake at the end ?) in a card I slipped in the basket
I'm making him chocolate cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries.
Also a potato and steak dinner. Which he doesn't get often because he's spoiled with the best restaurants and a lot of grilling in the summer.
Definitely putting on something sexy tonight (whatever fits my big pregnant belly) and pleasing him however he wants!
I just feel like I dropped the ball this year :( I feel like it's too late to put together something like that now! I guess I'll have to do something for him tomorrow night after he gets off work, instead of before work. You did a really good job on that gift btw!!!!
I commented back to you on my post. My SO's birthday is actually on Valentine's Day. Steal my idea! Super easy to make. The base is a cardboard cake platter. I should have used a pizza pan. I have to be so careful carrying it around. Last year I made him a sexy coupon book. Pinterest has awesome tips on that and it's easy to throw together as well.
Oh man...I was hoping I could get around a bj lol but I'm sure he would appreciate it!! Last time I tried I had to stop because I've just been so winded. And I actually was having a hard time breathing!! ???
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
We know how each other feels about the other, and we also know how much we mean to each other. He buys me "just because" flowers all the time. He is the most amazing guy that has EVER came into my life. He is my rock! He's been so considerate and helpful during this whole pregnancy. I don't mind showing him how much he means to me!! I ended up writing him a long love note, and sticking it in his work pants pocket. I woke him up with a VERY nice gesture, (decided to just suck it up and give him a BJ) I packed him a nice lunch for work, (which I usually do) wrote cute messages on heart shaped post it's and stuck it on the bathroom mirror, and tonight.....when he gets home from work, he will see a nice gift bag with his favorite band tee, and a pack of his favorite guitar picks. And probably some chocolates. Which he will share with me because he's the greatest, most sweetest person on earth!!
