Hi everyone, my name is Skyler and I am 18 years old and expecting my first child which happens to be a little boy. I currently have gestational diabetes and my son has what a lot of people would call a birth defect. He isn't here yet and won't be for another two months but he has a pelvic kidney. Anywho I'm a big talker as you can see and would love to here stories about your children and will gladly take any parenting advice. Also I'm very good at making friends so hopefully you will decide to say hi. 😇
@noelsky0, sorry it took so long for my reply. I think that is normal because I experienced it sometimes. It could just be nerves. Especially if checking your blood sugar makes you nervous, which it really did in my case. If it continues I would just mention it to your dr just in case. ☺️
Hey welcome. I'm 18 as well expecting my first (boy) in December. I have a group chat for people who are due in December if you'd like to join 💙
@jacksonsmom17 okay I have a question is it normal to always feel like you have the shakes even if your blood sugar is normal? Mine was 95 when I just checked checking it but I feel like I'm really off balance. And I did eat too.
@noelsky0, hi and welcome congrats and I will b praying for u and baby. We have lots of groups on the app that might interest u. Christian moms, cloth diaper moms, gardening moms, natural mamas, cooking mamas let me know if u have questions or wanna b added
Hi there! I just had my first baby, a boy, in June. I also had gestational diabetes.
@jacksonsmom17 thank you that probably is why because I only found out in Tuesday so it's really new to me. That's probably it.
