So, most of the schools here is SC have closed today or are taking half days because of the wind and rain that we are getting from Irma. Well, we are in a virtual school so normally they will not close for weather. Well, they did close for today since there is a good chance of many students losing power. We can however still go online and work if we want to. I go into the FB page and almost everyone is still doing school today. Gees, I feel like such a slacker because we are not! We are not behind or anything so I dont see the point. 😂

Well it’s official we are doing remote learning in the fall. The school board voted and went along with what the superintendent wanted. I can’t even say I’m upset or mad about it cause I do think it was the right decision and we had a bit of a warning that this was how it was going to go. Even though I’m in a good position, a sahm, and very fortunate I can still say it sucks lol. What about your kids school?

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

IUI Monday!! So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years!!! It was a good thing we picked up a trigger shot before we left too :-)
