Do you guys think that one person spending $40 a week on dry cleaning when the family is trying to save to move out of their dad's house, get married one day, pay for children's expenses, one toddler now and a baby due in February? When the family is literally living paycheck to paycheck and have absolutely no savings? Do you guys think that $40 a week on dry cleaning is necessary?

@armyvet_working_mom_of_4, that's exactly how it was for us when we were children. His mom would buy endless amounts of groceries and mine would literally be counting pennies to buy the necessities. He just really doesn't know how to save and if I try to tell him that, even in the nicest way possible, he gets his back up, gets mad, and says that everything he is doing is necessary. Like buying the $$$ mayweather boxing pay-per-view fight the other night. He just doesn't get it.
@aboutellesbabes, my husband wasn't spoiled per say, but he did have stuff that I never had. Like they lived a middle to high class life. Shit I lived a poor live style. He had the choice of trying but not liking and not eating what was on his plate, if I didn't I starved. Lol
So I understand. But my husband finally grew out of it. Right now we are between low and middle class, and that seems to be acceptable for him and kind of a change for me lol.
Not trying to pick his side either but sometimes that's just how people are and it's hard to get them to see that their way isn't the best way for the cuircumstances. Try writing him a letter to express how you feel so that you can get out what you want and he can't shut you down.

Is this something he is use to, and have you tried talking to him about it? I ask because me im use to living on beans and biscuits, while my husband is use to living with stuff you really don't need. When we was first married and just had one kid he was like this, but we talked about it. He now understands and has learnt to slow down. It is silly, and I understand.

@jade2017, @therurallady, @simmiebaby, @callher_bunny, @beautynbabies, @t142, its for work, but a lot of the clothes aren't "dry clean only". I could wash and iron them myself and have offered to many times, but he likes the way the clothes lie when they are dry cleaned, like where the lines/creases are in the clothes. Like today he's bringing pants in that aren't even dirty! I wouldn't even consider them wrinkled, they were folded and he doesn't like the lines in them. So he's bringing them in..... I could definitely iron these pants.
If it's necessary for work clothes and it can only be dry cleaned than it's okay. If not no! Hell no
That depends if the weekly dry cleaning is for work clothes. If not, then yes, that's unnecessary in my opinion. My children will not go without because of dry cleaning. Hell no💅

@aboutellesbabes, he doesn't, because he so use to it. Like I said I'm not on his side at all, because i went threw it too with my husband. Now at taxes we pay bills off, stock up. Them splurge a bit, other than that he saves now. lol hopefully and I pray it gets better for you too.
