That's okay, my little one doesn't use a straw, if its thIdk enough they could use a spoon if it's thin you can help him drink from a cup. I usually will cut up and freeze bananas and strawberries and just blend with milk for my 1yr old and she loves it. But you can try anything, just make it with milk, oj, or juice, etc and then add the fruit you want. :)

@kami24706, how would you recommend doing that? Also, wouldn't he need a straw for that? Lol. He still only chews on straws 😔

@berrongc did you try making a smoothie? Sometimes it's thr only thing to help them get used to it. Some kids do not like the texture of some foods and so they avoid it, but if it is blended they can't feel the texture. Even mashing the food might help.

You could even mix it with the veggies or other foods to gets him to take it :)

@berrongc, try give him the fruit room temp... for reason fruit isn't the same purée I'm telling you from my experience... for example apples I can't eat it cold because My throat is itchy and my ears I know weird but if it's room temp I'm fine but if it's like applesauce it's fine lol
