My SO seems to always be on his man period anymore, he has little faith in me, if I don't text back right away even though I was busy, it's causes for a fight. He blames it on lack of sleep but he gets more sleep than I do.... like I don't understand, we are planning for baby number 2 and our wedding and he's being a emotional dickwad all the time..... there's no other words to describe it . He makes me want to wrap him in a hug and strangle him at the same time anymore. . . 😤😂😐

Well it is a proven fact that men do have a fluctuation in their hormones at a certain time every month. It also could be due to nerves with all the upcoming changes a second baby a marriage. I think a lot of men go through that. I'm down and talking to him asking him to be honest with you about what he is going through?

He's a fireman so he's always stressed, but this has been a on going thing for the length of time we have been together so almost 4 years now . I honestly think he's bipolar @mommiesaremagical14,

Ok I understand, My SO actually does the same thing when he's at work when I text him sometimes it can take 3-4 hours for him to respond but I totally get it he's busy the message is there it's not going anywhere and he'll answer when he can. But when he text me within 10 20 minutes I'm getting more saying "hello?" "Answer me, hello?" It's frustrating because I'm a SAHM and I guess he assumes I constantly have my phone in my hand just sitting around. But of course I'm busy too. Mine also is usually on edge do to his jobs long hours. So sometimes I feel like I gotta walk around on eggshells with him.

@mommiesaremagical14, exactly, he thinks I'm constantly beside my phone like yesterday I was outside just sitting with my daughter and left my phone on the charger inside, he called twice and text like four times or so.... just because I didn't answer the first time, but I understand he can't answer right away so I hardly ever double text him or call.

And I'm sure you've told him that I'm sure you've explained to him that just because you're home with your kids doesn't mean that you're not busy. I got frustrated with my SO when he kept doing that and I went off on him telling him that. He still doesn't get it. So you know what I do? I just ignore it and do what I got to do and answer him when I have time and if he complains I explain to him why I didnt get to the phone so quickly. I was giving jocey a bath, I was doing dishes, I was switching the laundry over, or like you said you were outside with your child while your phone was charging ( I've done that), I was reading Jocey a book before I put her down for a nap etc...

Not to mention that on top of taking care of my daughter all day I'm trying to take care of the house because I want him after a long hard day at work to come home to a clean Happy House and dinner on the table. I want him to feel comfortable and relaxed and running errands when needed. He always tends to text me when I'm out running errands and when I'm driving I do not touch my phone until I get to my destination.

@mommiesaremagical14, oh my gosh yes all those times are when my SO decides to blow up my phone ! I never answer my phone while driving, I've seen to many bad things happen ! I think men just think that since we stay at home all we do is sit around and wait for them.

I think I'd have to agree with that. Right now I am actually home alone my SO wanted to go out to breakfast and right now I'm just not up for it because I'm not eating solids right now, I got my period yesterday and it's god-awful today, I haven't shaved in weeks I haven't showered in a couple days yet, there's a lot that need to be done around the house, and it doesn't kill anyone for me to want a little time to myself. So they're out having daddy-daughter time with breakfast and I'm at home doing laundry dishes cleaning the kitchen etc.... Even though my knee time is being spent cleaning the house it still feels good to be able to get it done in peace without my three-year-old constantly interrupting me every 5 minutes needing my help wanting to show me something she has a tendency to be up my butt constantly every time I turn around and knock her over, lol.

I've tried putting myself in his place a thought "does he think that I do nothing all day because the house isn't spotless?" I mean I do the dishes, clean the floors, laundry is always done, dinners on the table and my DD is clean, fed, happy and healthy. I try to keep the house decent and take my DD out to fun places to be around other kids. I know it's not as clean as a museum but I try my best to keep it livable.

@mommiesaremagical14, I feel you totally!!!!!!!!!!!!! Same exact thoughts go through my head. My SO barely has daddy daughter time, so I'm always struggling to get things done around the house before she tears it apart again

@leann.harris I think it's good for just the two of them to get out together. He works insane hours and really doesn't get to see her that much. He also has a hobby that requires him to make commitments sometimes and those are on the weekends not every weekend but some. We try to take her somewhere fun at least every other weekend as a family. I also very rarely get to have time to myself even if it's spent getting the house done I can get it done in peace and maybe even relax a little. But I think it's very important for them to spend some one-on-one time together.
