200 dollars is cheap. That is below the standard of a babysitter. I wish I could find one that cheap

I was paid $200 a WEEK to nanny a little boy in his own home with his mom there (she worked from home). By the time I had the move out of state, I was up to $300 a week. That's a very small amount for an entire month.

@kmechellec I was a nanny as well and was paid 600 a week. I'm not familiar with the costs of in home childcare though.... and I know it's a small amount. It's what she suggested, not what I'm planning on paying her.

Well at that point you would be paying more than the daycare cost she asked for. 2 days is 80 dollars a week. That would be 320 dollars a month. Just let her watch him for 200

@beebfull She wants 200 a month to watch him full time. Thats not enough. I would rather utilize my free babysitting and use her as needed. I just needed to know what a good daily rate is. Tis all.

@beebaby If I only need her one day a week I wanna give her 40-50, and if I need more days it'll vary. If I could afford it, I would pay her 10 an hour but I can't do that right now, and frankly she wouldn't let me lol.

Basically she will get 200+ a month regardless, but for 160 hours a month.... 200 isn't shit.
