So albie is only 10 months and the last couple of weeks he has started having full blown tantrums if he can't get his own way or is told no it's not just a cry he throws himself back, screams and throws stuff and is hysterical until he gets his own way! He's always been stubborn I.e refusing to sleep in his own cot and bedroom for me and tom (he does sleep In a cot for everyone else) how do I stop it? Like I've said before being a nanny and disciplining kids is different to having your own!

Unfortunately from my experience all you can do is be consistent & ride it out! If they have a tantrum as long as they're somewhere safe I let them have out. Obviously keeping a sneaky eye on them but 'ignoring' it. Once they've calmed down a bit then I'll get involved again. If they are somewhere where you think they could hurt themselves move them onto the floor away from anything then let them tantrum it out. As you know they're tantruming to either, get attention, get what they want, or get out of whatever they don't want to do. Even as young as this! Their not silly little things lol
