is it safe for your baby to sleep in his or her car seats at night? thts the only way my baby will sleep. he hates it…

No! The position they are in can cause them to smother. It's call position suffocation

My little guy sleeps in the bed with me and his dad and has since day 1 so I can't answer that question for you. Maybe try rocking him and then putting him in his crib once he's good and asleep.

I tried everything. he hates sleeping on his back. I'll let him fall asleep in my arms his car seat or swing then try moving him and he wakes up every 20mins. 😩 @prestonsmommy

If you haven't tried swaddling, I'd suggest doing that.

Or one of these, it makes them feel secure.

They have this rocking bed thing that is kinda like a swing and it vibrates, don't know if you have one but I've seen a lot of moms letting their babies sleep in them. I think they are called a baby taco if you want to look them up.

This is what I was talking about. This is an expensive one but just an idea. They do kind of sit up like their car seat just not as much.

Don't rock it. Just lay him in it and turn the vibrate on. You'll just have to replace the batteries a good bit. We had one for my son and used it until he learned to pull his legs out the buckles at 8 months old.

They don't sit up as much and their heads lay like they are supposed to and they are only slightly elevated.

They are built different. The car seat sits up a little more and it slouches or slides down in the car seat it will cause his neck to get into a position and block his airway. These he can't scoot down in because of the way the back and bottom meet. The Rock and plays are built for them to sleep in.

They have a rock n play that rocks itself too and has a plug in so you don't have to replace batteries

Yeah, maybe craigslist or facebook neighborhood sales. Good luck hun, it's hard but remember it doesn't last forever even though it's hard to see past this stage.

This is my sons head position in his rock n play he's elevated but still laying down so that his airway isn't blocked.
