opinions please ..
Kai has basically outgrown his moses basket so I was looking to get a crib until he's 6months and can go in his own room, some work colleagues have told my partner if he's outgrown the moses basket he might aswell be in his own room and to just get one of those sensors to put under his cot, I feel like he's too little to be in his own room though 🤔
what has everyone else done?

@daniellep5690 I have a video monitor that I already use cause he goes to bed before me, what's a sleepy head insert? I'll probably keep him in with me til he's past 6months it's what I've always said I would do xx
Personally I don't think there is a right or wrong answer I think it's whatever you feel most comfortable with. Both my girls were in their own cot in their own room from 4months. I have the sleepy head insert I use in the cot and both girls sleep all night. It really is whatever u feel comfortable with. We also have a video monitor so we can see my youngest who is 6months. I swear by the video monitor especially when we are downstairs and they are sleeping upstairs. Xx
@nataliielouiseexo we have the angelcare one and we got it from a toymaster in the baby section, you can get them off amazon too xx
@ezchaz I don't have a crib it's his Moses basket that he's nearly outgrown that's why I'm saying I'm thinking of getting a crib cause the cot is to big for our room xx
@genieh I think that's what I'm going to I've spoke to someone who has s crib for £25 I just need a new mattress which I've seen on eBay, I likely will get a sensor pad to put my mind at ease, where did you get yours from? xx
@sara-lou86 nobody told me unless I probably wouldn't of bothered with a Moses basket 😂😂 nevermind I know for next time lol, haha I don't know when I'll stop with the monitor
Moses basket then travel cot in our room, then in a proper cot/ crib at 6/7months in her own room. We've always had the sensor mat too just because we're over worried and paranoid xx
A lot of people told me their not in moses baskets long. So if I used one don't spend a fortune. So glad we didn't as Morgan barely lasted 9weeks! 🙈 He hated it as well. Slept so much better in a his cot. All babies are different though.
I'm trying to wean myself off the monitor as both my boys are bit older now, but I love watching what they get up to when they think I can't see! 😂
@sara-lou86 yeah I've been looking at mattresses 😁 I'll only end up selling the crib or keep for the next one lol just didn't expect him to grow out the Moses basket til he was in his own room lol, yeah I love my video monitor I play the womb sound through it 😁
Video monitor is a blessing. Obviously I check on the boys but I can literally hear their breathing on ours. Even when they were tiny.
If you can get a cheapy one I guess that would help. You'll need a new mattress though. We spent more on Max's mattress than his crib 😂 Yes they do advise 6months. But we had no space for Morgan's cot in our room when he outgrew his moses basket. Which is why I didn't bother using a moses basket at all with Max. He went straight into his crib until he went into his own room at 6months.
@sara-lou86 they're meant to be in your room first 6months though aren't they? no there's no room for it and his room isn't finished yet, I have a video monitor though, I was just thinking of buying a second hand crib and sell it on again just didn't know what everyone else did
I'd put him straight into a cot. He may not even last till 6months in a crib. Can you fit a cot in your room? Morgan went into his own room from 9weeks. Now I would advise it that young, (we had no option at the time). But if you have a video monitor it might put your mind at rest.
Sounds like your best option is to by a crib then until your ready for him to go into his own room xx @nataliielouiseexo
@lukesmummy2016 ah really cause he actually sleeps really well I just think I would worry if he went in his room just now xx
@memphisandme there's no room for his cot to be in our room so I was thinking about getting a second hand crib and sell it on again x
@chesscalouise no there's no room I was just thinking of buying a second hand crib and sell it on when he goes in his room x
@mum2sky yeah i want him in with us til he's 6months might even end up being longer, there's no room for his cot to be in our room, I was just thinking of buying a second hand crib til he's ready for his own room and sell the crib on x
My luke went into his own room at 3 months when he outgrew his crib. He was fine and he slept better in there than he ever did when in with us xx
I put Memphis in her cot in our room so she was at the end of our bed and still is. I'm putting her in her on room when she's 1 obviously everyone does it different but might work for you having the cot in your room until you feel LO can go in there own room x
@nataliielouiseexo can u fit a cot in your room x
They recommend keeping them in with you until 6 months as it reduces sids. If you can then great, if you don't have the space then maybe one of you could move into his room with him in the meanwhile? X
@nataliielouiseexo, yeh u will end up keeping him longer they r so little 😢 u should defo get a crib for the next few months, xxxx
@lauramackay2016 yeah tbh he might be in my room longer I'm just saying 6 months and see how I get on lol xxx
@nataliielouiseexo, I would agree Jax was one when I put him into his own room that's what she I'll be putting this baby into their room at too Xxx
@lauramackay2016 there's not enough room for his cot to be in our room and his room isn't finished yet still needs a blind curtains etc.. I just think 3months seems really young to be in his own room when I do finally finish it xxx
The next to me was also handy for me cos if he slept over at my mums and the mother in laws that's what he slept in Xx
@ezchaz I was just going to get a second hand one they're like £20 on Facebook then sell it on again xx
My wee boy outgrew is Moses at 5 weeks as he was really long, I then put him into a next to me crib until around 6/7 months as there's lots of room, then had my cot in my room at the time cos his room wasn't decorated at the time and had him in his cot in my room until around he was 1 then put him into his own room, I sometimes put him into the cot for naps nearer the time he would be going into his cot just to get him used to it Xxx
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
