Preggies, We're working on a blog post about what it means to be a mom, and we want your opinion. What would you add to this statement? You know you're a mom when... Add your reply in the comments here, and we'll post your responses on our blog just in time for Mother's Day! Thanks! Preggie_USA
You can be racist towards the race of your friends. You can be racist towards your own race. You can be racist towards the race of your family. You can be racist towards the race of your spouse. You can be racist towards the race of your kids. Your racism doesn't just stop being racism because 'X' is said race. Racism is Racism. Thanks for coming to this very well needed TedTalk.

I believe it could be... it is something I would talk to your doctor about!

It doesn't feel like depression because I love my baby so much and love holding him, changing him and feeding him. I just really feel like i hate his dad. I feel like leaving with the baby. I feel like I've never loved him at all and I'm pretty sure I upset him by saying that and I don't really think I could take it back. I just really don't want to believe I have PPD

Did you feel that way before the baby was born?

I didn't in the beginning until like the 8th month. I just thought it was my pregnancy hormones. The day he was born, I felt love for him and then slowly started to lose the feelings again. I hope it's just hormones and not PPD. He is so great with the baby and he's always taken care of me. I wish I knew what it was and what can make the feeling go away.

That's how it is for me. A lot of my ppd is taken out on my SO. I absolutely love my baby exactly how you described, but I could care less if my SO was around. I go to therapy once a week because I've been trying to work on it, and I take medication now and it's made a world of difference for me. You can always message me if you need to chat, I know exactly what you're going through

Oh wow.. that's not good. I have been with my SO for 8+ years. Loss of sleep and exhaustion from our newborn has caused a couple arguments but I still am very much in love with him. He gave me a beautiful baby girl.. sounds messed up to me but I'm not gonna judge
