So I told my boyfriend that when our son turns a year old I want to take my BC out, wait a few months and try for another baby.
He absolutely does not want to of course lol but my brother and I are 11 months apart and we were so close growing up, so I want my kids to be close in age.
Is that a bad idea? I know we can afford another baby and we live on our own, don't have to rely on other people, and we always pay our bills on time and still have money. So I know that's not the issue.
I just don't want to wait 5 years for another baby and they are going to be doing completely different things growing up.

It is still pretty early, your baby is only 6 months, wait until he's 10 months or so and bring it up again. I know that a long time, but let him think on it a while.
I got pregnant with our daughter when my son was 4 months old and they are already close, he helps me feed her, plays with her and tries to soothe her when she's upset. It wasn't planned but I couldn't be happier, they already have such a bond and once we are done with diapers we are completely done, not done just to start all over again!

My kids will be 13m apart when the second arrives. My partner knew how badly I wanted atleast our first two close in age, PLUS I'm the one watching and responsible for them most of the time since he works 12 hour days. lmao
