Mike is amazing, he actually has nailed it in everyone's heads that if anything were to happen to me, my kids stay with him. We got super lucky with him :)
Yes my fiancée who I have been with for 5 years now used to stress me out over the stupidest things I always told him you are the reason why I miscarried & I honestly believe it because stress can affect our bodies wayy more than we even know, my cycles too were all over the place at 1 point I didn't have a period for months at a time the longest I went without a cycle was 6 months. But he's stopped stressing me out mostly & I get a cycle every month, best wishes to you while on your journey ?
@april wow thats a touching story :/ god really works in strange ways ! im so happy you got away from him.. and as bad as this may sound.. i think God saved your life by taking away your baby.. bc that would have tied you to that man forever and you probably wouldnt have left him (bc you too had a baby together) and eventually he could have ended up killing you or worse killing you and your baby !! I had an ex (who already had a kid) and told his friends that we were going to have a baby together (didn't say anything to me first) he got mad and couldn't understand why after 6 months I couldn't get pregnant. I'm so glad we never had a baby, I'm with a great guy now we have a wonderful daughter but took us 9 months to conceive
I'm so glad that you got out their relationship before things got really bad I'm glad you found someone who loves you and know how to treat you like a woman should be treated....I also know how you feel cuz I went to the same thing when my ex ...after he found out I was pregnant he literally beat the crap out of me called me name and just disrespect all the time...i end up losing my baby bt i do know if it was might to be god would have love my baby to live but I guess you had other things planned and now I'm with a guy who treats me like I should be treated who's sweet kind and loving and a great dad to his daughter and just maybe in a week are two I just might get my answer lol baby dust in fingers crossed :) and baby dust flowing your way good luck

Well, at first he had no contact with them at all, but then my daughter would ask for him, so I went to court and set up supervised visitation. He can only see them when my parents are with us, he can't take them overnight, and he can't come to our home. I do live a couple of hours away from him, and I refuse to drive to him, so now he really never sees them. The kids don't miss him, they only want him around when they want toys and stuff, because that's all he shows he can do for them, but they already see my new man as their dad. Especially my son, he was barely 10 months when I left their dad, so he only remembers Mike as his father.
When I left their dad, my oldest was about 3 and my youngest was just about 1. Now they're 6 & 4.

He started out being verbally and emotionally abusive to me, and would threaten to hit me but never did. Finally it happened, and that night I packed myself and the kids and we hauled ass two hours away.
This was nearly four years ago.
Now we're happier than ever as a new family with my man, Mike, whom I've known for 12+ years, and just started dating almost 3 years ago. We're hoping to be pregnant with our first sometime very soon!
When it comes to being in abusive relationships, it's so easy for people to say, "Just leave him!" or "Oh, she stayed because she 'loved' him," when really (at least for me) it's a lot easier to stay with him, because that way it's easier to see the signs he shows before he throws the punches.
The night I left my ex, I was terrified. I drove and drove and drove when honestly, I didn't have to. He didn't have a car. He had no way of finding me or getting me. Yet because I knew what he was capable of, I had to hide. I was always looking over my shoulder for him to where I had the thought to just go back with him, just so I knew exactly where he always was. But no. I fought myself and pushed forward to find the man I deserved.
Anyone here or if anyone knows someone in a bad relationship, there's hope. You'll find someone worth your time. And tell someone. Really. Don't protect him. I used to cover everything up that he did that when I finally told what happened, everyone close to me was shocked.
And trust me, they'll never really change.

I too am 21 and my boyfriend now is 27 and i was in an abusive relationship for also, 4.5 years tryna have a baby because i thought it would make him happier and we would be happy but i realize i wasnt happy with him. Now the person im with just makes me so happy. I left california to washington with him and its the best life ever. He has a 3 year old tho. And i stopped ttc cos im so new to washington i dont even know places here haha so i cant raise babies yet. But im so happy for u and i hope u get a bfp soon, girl! ♡
Stress will cause your cycles to become irregular and the irregular period will cause infertility. So good luck to you two but you only being 21, I would wait just a little longer. You two should be exploring the world together and then have kids to share your adventures with as their bed time stories.

We talked about ttc and I think I'm ready. Im only 29 but I'm ready for another baby. My son (Past relationship ) will be 3 this month. I think it's time to try for my girl. I'm so scared tho because my 1st pregnancy was twins but I miscarried@ 22 weeks. Twins run in my family deep any one who has twins in my family has at least two sets of multiples. I would love to have twins again. Lightening does strike twice so let's hope that's true. Good Luck!

And thank you it definitely was hard but I would do It over again jus to have big baby girl...I say it all the time she was the one good thing that came. I am one of the lucky ones I don't have to deal with his drama or him coming in an out.. .my SO and his family treat her like she theirs. More then his fam...so it all worked the way it needed.

Congrats to you on doing something alot of women can not do. I was in an abusive relationship with my daughter dad but he did not start hitting me till I was 5 mths pg with her. When I finally got out it took alot to get where I need to be. Needless to say she hasn't spoke. To him since 2008 his doing not mine. I have been with my SO for 4 yrs. With a yr off we are now back together an jus started ttc when he moved to Florida with me july 2. I just got my bfp yesterday. Super excited

Yeah its hard !! leaving an abusive realationship is always harder bc alot of times the abuser has your confidence and self esteem down.. its more of a mental hold than anything so i get it.. it sucks lol but thank you ladies for your responses !!
