Okay moms. So my due date is April 13th and my dad's birthday is on the 11th. I know there's no guarantee that it would even happen but I was wanting to get induced on maybe the evening of April 10th to have her on my dad's birthday because we're so close. Do y'all think my doctor would let me do that? I know there's a possibility I wouldn't even have her on his birthday but I really wanted to try because he's my best friend and it would tickle him for her to be born on his birthday.

You never know... for my son due date was march 23 but he came march 12 my older brothers birthday... i called my bro at 3am told hime I was on my way to the hospital and happy birthday ans my son came at 10:17 am on my brothers birthday. It could happen.

Even tho thats your due date the baby could come early.... both my kids came early one @37 weeks the other @38. You might even get lucky without planning it on that date.
@mcrowell0970, I wanted to have her natural but I do definitely want to have an epidural. I really don't think I could do it without it. My pain tolerance might be higher than I think it is but I've never really had any major injuries so I wouldn't know. I just really wanted to have her on my dad's birthday 😫 he might tell me no anyway though

@annaerandolph, I got induced with my daughter 10 days past the due date.
My doctor offered to induce me like 5 days before my due date. So I guess it's worth asking.
If it is only a couple of days before that should be fine. They did a repeat c section for my son at 39 weeks.
