My HUSBAND and I have been married for 3 years. The entire time we were trying to conceive. Even went through fertility treatments and Medicine. Yes it finally happened. And I'm blessed it did.

My Youngest sister who has been with her bf 4 months announced to everyone she was pregnant on Thanksgiving. Obviously it's been longer then 4 months now... but moving on..

My husband had a daughter in his past marriage, who was born premature and passed away when she was 4 days old.

My entire pregnancy I was terrified of what would happen if I put him through that again. I was constantly in the hospital for bleeding/ not holding food or fluids down, etc.

And my Mom ignored it.

Saturday my sister had sex and had a little spotting, and first thing my mom says to me is, "She is as far along as Elizabeth was when she was born"

okay I get that mom..

but She doesn't even know who Elizabeth was/Is. She is MY step daughter. how come you didn't care when I was 19/20 weeks and in the hospital for days. but as soon as my little sister has sex and spots just a tiny bit, you freak out and compare her to MY step daughter. I understand if it was her step daughter. but no. It hurts me and makes me feel Jealous, Seems like everyone is Mike concerned and interested in her pregnancy, then mine.

any other moms go through this?

I know the feeling but not with my family but with my husband's "family" who are his best friends for over 20 years. we had our 2 daughters and they didnt care to hold or spend time with our kids not even a baby gift but when his best friends wife gets pregnant it's all about her and her son and she gets a baby shower thrown by his so called "family". it got so bad to the point when we had our last daughter one of them bought our daughter a baby swing and straight to my face said don't let so and so know I bought this for you guys because its all about this other girl and her kids and she gets easily upset when she isn't the center of attention.

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. So fucking pissed. My niece drew all over my daughters wall in her playroom. I tell my sister about it and she had the nerve to fucking laugh. If that were my daughter and she did that to her house I'd be paying for new painted walls!! then had the nerve to say "she's only two". (She's allowed to do that at their house) well here she got her ass busted and put in time out until her mother gets here. Now I have to figure out how get this crayon off the damn walls with out them being ruined. fml. so much for being nice!!
