Just had a beautiful baby girl and have decided to pump for breast milk . I wanted her to get use to a bottle because I won't always be around . I have gone through a lot of pain and have only been doing it for five days . At first it was her suction because it's so hard but now that my milk has came in and their full I'm having lots of pain and there my nipples are red and bleeding . My baby just started throwing up after every bottle but I know for a fact it's fresh milk. Could my nipple issue be the reason why?

Yea my baby is so greedy she eats so fast I think which causes her to throw up too

she may be drinking too much from the bottle. try pace feeding!

I had the same problem. I had clogged ducts too with bleeding nipples. I fed thru the pain and pumped when possible to work out the pain. I also massaged my breast while feeding her. I used lansinoh on my nipples after every feeding. They're def feeling better. My baby throws up too but I cut back on cows milk and I sit her up when I feed her and it helps.

She might be throwing up just because shes swallowing air from the bottle. If youre only pumping and your nipples are sore your flanges might be the wrong size
