Thats another thing I was wondering about are you suppose to let newborns fuss? I heard its good for their lungs but I be scared at the same time because I heard also letting them fuss to long and to much could cause them to bust a vessel in their brain.

@proudmommy_0320 oh girl, I know exactly what your talking about. For the longest time when my bf would try to watch the babe for me, I couldn't sleep. Just the slightest sound from her voice would wake me up. And the door would be shut.

That part my mother in law kept both my kids yesterday for a few hours so I could get some sleep but that didn't help either @bearweaver14 i kept waking up my mothers instinct was kicking in to bad.

Me too girl @lisa_gandy I be having to put the blanket over my head 😂

@proudmommy_0320 I know I seen that too when I looked it up. It sucks because it is really hard for me to sleep with the light on so I will be buying a sleep mask 😂

That's another thing i noticed @lisa_gandy she scared of the dark and I looked it up on google and it said its normal for newborns to be scared of the dark for the first 3 months I was like oh wow all this is new to me I didnt go through none of that with my daughter . But i turned a light on by her to and made her so much more relaxed.

@proudmommy_0320 my mom has the spine issues, not baby girl.. Wanted to make that clear. Lol

@proudmommy_0320 I've thought several times about taking her to my moms, but she has a lot of spine issues, so I can't really leave em alone for too long. Mom worries about dropping her if she has to pick her up.

Yes girl i does that to @lisa_gandy she did pretty good last night she let me get like a hour in a half almost two hours of sleep. So I guess were getting somewhere because the night before i got 0 hours lol.

@proudmommy_0320 The only way she will fall into deep sleep is on my chest and once she is in her deep sleep I have to swaddle her put her back on my chest and then put her down.

Right I cant wait till she get to that stage where she sleep more its hard managing a toddler and a newborn off of no sleep @bearweaver14

@proudmommy_0320 Haha same here. She will sleep for hours during the day and be up every hour during the night. Last night we kept the light on right next to her and she slept for the entire night but got up once to eat, she didn't even wake up when I changed her diaper.

But I have learned that I will be sleeping during the day with her so I can be rested. Hopefully she starts sleeping through the night amd awake during the day before I have to go back to school in March.

I think I went the entire first month with like only ten hrs of sleep in total. For the whole month.. It finally took a break down before the other half let me sleep for 4 hrs.

and I'm not trying to have her spoiled so I put her back in her crib I dont want her to become depended on sleeping on my chest every night.

Girl my daughter is the same exact way man @lisa_gandy she be wanting to sleep on my chest I think she has her nights and days mixed up because she sleeps fine during the day at night we goes through it girl mainly because she be wanting to be on my chest

@proudmommy_0320 Girl same here! When I first came home I was soo scared to go to sleep. The second night at the hospital she did not want to sleep anywhere else besides on my chest amd when I tried to put her down she would scream so I just held her all night watching TV.
