Ladies who got stitches: Is it normal for the area where you got stitched up to sting once in a while? And how long does…

I had 3 stitches and took a couple weeks to fully heal. The peri-bottle was my BFF! I mixed warm water and witch hazel and squirted that as I was going to relieve the stinging sensation. Then I'd spray dermaplast over my stitches for pain relief.

Peeing stung for a few weeks until it healed. My magic mix was lukewarm rinse bottle, Dermoplast spray and witch hazel pads. Best part of my day

Get some witch hazel pads! They helped me so much to reduce the pain while my lady parts were healing.

Yeah it stings the first week pretty bad I literally had to pee holding a warm towel on my vagina I couldn't pee normally it stung to bad

mine hurt all the time an i still have pressure when I sit down to pee but no more pain. I only have one or two left an i have stitches inside I didn't tear my perineum @ingridm89

The first week is tough, you can't even laugh without feeling it... I had hemorrhoids in addition to it, it hurts sometimes when you just turn wrong while trying to sit, the sting is fully normal - week 2 the pain gets better, but by week 3 it is almost forgotten ...

Mine got infected 😒 but took 6 weeks to heal! Weird but take a picture down there with flash. See if anything looks odd.

Yes. The stitches will fall out on their own. Mine was fully healed by 7 weeks.
