Went to the doc today to get checked since I've been having this back pain thr last two days and had cloudy urine. My urine was a bit cloudy and it had a little protein in it but she said it is normal with pregancy and sent it out to he safe. She thinks my back is mostly due to my muscles in my back and wants to to use heat and try stretching some and told me it may get worse as my pregancy goes on. I'm just glad I went in a got checked just to be safe. Resting the rest of the day then work all day tom.

my mom died this morning. She lived with me. this morning she woke up and went to the bathroom. i was on zoom and i heard a bang. she died in the bathroom. i wasn’t able to open the door or help her. she’s had health issues but this was unexpected. my kids were at home, i had someone come get them. i had to stay in the house with her body until the funeral home came to get her. idk how to tell my kids. they loved her sooooo much. i don’t know how to be at home. i’m just so lost. she was all i had. my dad died when i was 12. idk i just wanted to vent.

When did you ladies start getting checked to see if your dilating? I am 36 weeks 4 days and not once have any of my doctors checked to see if I am or not.. Only been checked to see if my son is head down, and he is.. Last week I went and the doctor said that she didn't wanna check to see if I was dilating cause she didn't wanna "mess with my cervix" 😕 or "get things started" those were her words... FTM

protein in urine ??? So I just got back from my 32wk check up and doctor said I had alot of protein in my urine which could mean preeclampsia however my blood sugar is not high and you have to have both high BS and protein in urine.. Still I'm pretty nervous. She gave me this huge jug and I have to do a 24hr urine test and blood work.. Anyone else experience this ? I heard it can be pretty dangerous ! :(

Thyroid ultrasound. I went in for my physical today and the dr checked my thyroid. She seemed off when she was checking it and checked it over and over. I have hypothyroid and I'm taking me my meds. I did mention I thought it was low but nothing much. Well she left the room and came. Ack in and said she wanted me to get a thyroid ultrasound as soon as possible because it was pretty enlarged. Has anyone had this done before? What do they look for?
