I know this is kinda off topic and you may not remember giving me advice on the ALL WATER CHALLENGE , you told me that a little over a month ago and I did it and tommorrow I will be 6wks pregnant. & I just wanted to say thanks fr the advice..!! ?☺️?? congratulations on your upcoming arrival , hopefully I'm having a boy too..

@bsmith yeah hopefully it doesn't happen again and if it does your at term. I know its hard to worry due to your history but you know every pregnancy is different. This one may not give you any problems (: and I'm having a boy !

@kim well they need to figure out ASAP! are u home or did u stay at the hospital ?

PrettyCityy - Actually today my blood pressure has been all over the place. I've been laying down for most of the day and one reading I had was 100/56(!!!)... I was so shocked!! But also had 120/90. Not really sure how much Labetalol brings your BP down.

They still don't know what to do with me so I have to wait and see what the top consultant says about it tomorrow.

Did they mention anything about preeclampsia this time around ?? Hopefully that won't be an issue for you again , what are you having ??

@bsmith wow 35wks! Did they induce you or was it a c section? Did she have to stay in the hospital for a few weeks ? I'm so afraid to have him before at least 37wks. This is my first so I'm paranoid about everything lol.

@kim oh no.. Hopefully everything is ok.. But if you have to stay at least you'll be closely monitored.. How is your blood pressure now ?,

I had wondered why the hospital were keeping me in (was getting conflicting stories from different doctors) but a doctor this morning said they think I'm in the early stages of pre eclampsia and that I may have to stay here until the baby is delivered! :(

I'll be seeing the consultant this afternoon to find out more and to see if he wants me to stay or not. I may get lucky and get discharged because I only live 10mins away from the hospital!

Oh ok I wasnt sure which one , I get them confused lol. But I'm afraid to get induced. . it's way too early! Hopefully everything is ok.. I'm praying my BP doesn't raise. I've never had an issue with that .

I had protein in my urine at certain weeks but it ways went down

The other day I had 4+ protein in my urine as well as blood pressure of 126/102 (and I take medication to bring BP down). Next urine sample was 2+ protein and BP 110/100 (which they said is strange as there's only a 10 number difference). However the PET blood tests all came back fine, so I wasn't diagnosed.

I've been being monitored for pre e since 25 weeks as I have pregnancy induced hypertension and consistently have traces of protein in my urine. I'm now 30 weeks.

I've been at the hospital all week and they're keeping a close eye on everything, but all looks normal-ish (for me!) now.

@pand I had swelling in my ankles and feet for the first time last night and thought it was normal as well. I'm 110lbs literally ALL belly so I thought it was normal.. Now I'm not so sure. My blood pressure/sugar is not high though so I'm thinking I may be ok ??.. Luckily you were at term. I'm not :( but ima pray about it.. No stress I know that's not good for my blood pressure ?!.

Well...I'm a diabetic and with my last pregnancy they did say I had a lot of protein in my urine and high blood pressure. So they had me do the 24 hour urine collection twice. It sucked but I'm grateful I was 39 weeks when the pre-eclampsia came around (characterized for me by horrible swelling in my feet, ankles and legs. People were telling me the swelling was normal for being 39 weeks but I didn't feel right about it so I went to hospital and they ended up admitting me so they could induce due to pre-eclampsia).

So yeah I had to do the urine collection twice. I wouldn't stress about it though. My faith & not stressing is what got me through everything. Just try to eat everything in moderation -not too much sodium (but don't avoid sodium unless Dr says so) and not too much sugary foods (again not avoiding sugar unless Dr recommends it). Most of all don't stress or worry because that Can shoot your blood pressure up!

I have had protein in my urine since 28 weeks I'm now 34 the main thing they check is your blood pressure also
