Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
My son is one year old and i want him to go back and get use to sleeping in the crib I put him in the crib and all he does is cry and I spoke to his doctor and his doctor said let him cry like in 2 or 3 days he should get use to sleeping on his own has anyone try it ?
Since my husband's a SAHD am I going to have to pay him if I kick him out of our house? It's our house because it's in both of our names, but all of the bills are paid by me and in my name. He's telling me I can't kick him out because he has no car or money to start off on his own. And he's also saying he will take the title to my car if I kick him out because he sold his car to buy me mine. Which I don't believe anyone cares about because this car is in my name, I don't think anyone cares who got it for me lol. So just wondering if anyone is familiar in anything like this. Nothing's set in stone obviously, just continuous arguing out of nowhere the past few days and I'd really like to educate myself on my options so I can be aware of all sides and not ever feel trapped in my own house, which is how he made me feel tonight.
My son literally cried as soon as I put him down! So I literally have to be holding him all day, I'm drained. I live my baby but this is getting outta control. How can I get my son to stay on his own without crying?
Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.

Are you doing controlled crying? xx

I'm sure you have but have you tried stroking his face, down his nose? When Max is really upset I do that, or rock him off to sleep without getting him out of the cot. That way your still there, interacting with them but keeping them where they are.

@holliesinead, I do what @sara-lou, said, after her bottle I wind her and usually she's very relaxed but not quite asleep, Kay her down in her crib all swaddled and cosy with Ewan the sheep on, them if she doesn't settle I just pop back in and stroke her head and pop her dummy in and she calms right down, I never really leave her crying long at all. I may have to go in quite a few times but she usually settles after a few times of going in x good luck xxx and just think your giving them the independence to get off to sleep which in turn makes them more happy and confident in themselves xxx

I do the exact same @hawkie75 When people hear I don't get them out the cot they assume I leave them to cry. I've never left either of my boys to cry or get distressed. But at the same time I don't get them out of the cot unless they have worked them selves up. I'm up like a yo-yo some nights if their poorly or teething etc, but on normal nights it's really helped them settle to bed themselves.

I do the same, I only get Scarlett out of her cot if she's really worked up. The amount of time I've stood leant over her cot the last week is stupid as she's teething badly. I just hold my hand on her when she's laid down, stroking her face if she's moaning. X
