Okay who had an epidural? I'm bein induced on Friday if she don't come the next 2 days and I don't believe I can handle the pain

You can let them know you are interested in getting it as soon as they think you are ready. They can leave the tube in and give you more medication without re sticking you should you need it. Trust me you will enjoy the birth a ton more!
The reason you can't get up is because your lower body is numb and you get a catheter put in. Once you're ready to push they take the catheter out and it's baby time!
You stay in bed until your ready to push and I got the epidural at 3/4cm after they broke my water cause the contractions came fast and hard

I loved the Epi trick is to get it early.... So you can actually enjoy the birth and have the energy to enjoy the baby :)
I was induced last month and after being on pitocin for 6 hours I gave in and got the epidural. Honestly it made labor 1000000% better! I could talk to my family, I barely even noticed the contractions and I fell asleep for a while!lol all you gotta do is breathe and be still. I had 3 contractions back to back when I was getting my epidural and it hurt like hell but I just had to tell myself it was going to be over soon and it really was lol. The only downside is having to sit in the bed the entire time 😐 made my ass hurt lol
I felt like I had to poop with my first but I didn't it was just the pressure of him pushing to get out
with my first I did my water was seeping and I wasn't dilating fast so I ate a small chicken salad that's all I could eat...with my 2nd I ate like 4 hours before cause it was super bowl Sunday when I went into labor...but for me I know the pain upsets my stomach so I don't even be hungry until after the epidural then they only give u ice chips n I tell myself it's food lol
@nhenson23, did you eat before or anythin my mom suggested I not eat so I don't worry bout goin while pushin
honestly I hear that is super rare...they make u stay still and breathe through ur contractions it's pretty fast...I was nervous about that too but after the first time I just prayed n did it cause I couldn't take the pain
I just don't want the possibility of being paralyzed. other then that I'm all for it @bentleysmomma @nhenson23

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I don't care what ppl think of me, but I'm seriously considering putting my baby up for adoption. I love her with all of heart, but doing this alone is hard. Every single night she just screams to the top of her lungs and I do everything to soothe her. I don't know what to do at all. I wish I had some kind of help. I don't have a single ounce of help. I don't know a single soul in Minnesota either.
@mrsjuliep I got the epidural but wasn't check and maybe an hour after I got it I was pushing and was only suppose to be a 6. so needless to say I got it but I got it to late. I never went number or anything.
