soooo WIC gave me a paper that shows HOW/WHAT she should be eating/drinking and at 6-8 months it says she needs 1-2 ounces of 1OO% juice twice a day . I breastfeed and have NEVER thought that a baby that young would get juice ?! has anyone else did this or know anything about it ? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Apple juice for me. I hateeeee apple juice.
What does baby LOVE so far?? She always has been pretty active. But one night I drank a glass of apple juice because it sounded good. Haven't had it in a looooooong time. Well shortly after drinking it, I noticed she was super active! Doing somersaults, it felt like!!! Me and fiancé couldn't believe it!! Never felt that before!! She LOVED it!! So now I drink apple juice once a night, just for her! ??
Kaceys diaper rash comes every time she drinks apple juice. It makes her poop like crazy and she doesn’t say when she has pooped or peed. She went without apple juice for a week and never pooped during the night. But now she is doing it the first night she got some. I’m done with apple juice 🙅🏼

Most pediatricians actually are telling parents to not give juice now. It's not needed.

Yeah you'll still want to give her milk until shes 1 but add juice and water in her day.

My son started getting prune juice at 8 weeks due to not being able to poop. But he started drinking straight apple juice at 5 months he loves it. I agree with @andrewsmommy my son is 7 months old and sometimes prefers juice over milk. He still gets milk most of the time. But with beginning solids he'd much rather have juice to eat with.

They can have a little juice deluted with water. I started giving my son juice and wated at 6 months. Dr will say thats the time to introduce them to it also. When their 1 year and if you decide to stop breastfeeding by then, their day will consist of very little milk becauee they want them to have water and juice through out the day.
